Hey there, long time no see in CTK News! In this post, we are going to share some of the product updates we've implemented.
First, we have new versions of pulleys
An important upgrade to one of the most used products for TK's SLXe and SLXi model range.
For part numbers 709183, 773186, and 773187, we are opting for NSK Bearings, from the previous version with FAG bearings.
We want to test the robust NSK 3304B bearings in this set (709183), and in the individual pulleys (773186, and 773187). So, for a while, we won't be stocking the pulleys with FAG bearings. Only the tensioner assembly 773228 will still feature the 773186 pulley with FAG bearings.
What are the differences?
There is no visual difference between the 2 versions, they have the same steel, same diameter, and width too - the bearings inside are the main difference. Another positive slight difference for you is the price advantage you get for these bearings!
The new reference numbers for them in our store are 709183 v3, 773186 v3 and 773187 v3. Check them out below
You may wonder, where is v2 version of the pulleys?
The v2 is only available in set, 709183 v2, with a superb price point. The down side is, the diameter of the pulleys slightly differs from the original set up.
However, when used as a set there is no problem, as together they make the same diameter. You can check our instagram post about this few years ago 👉 click here to view.
Now, new versions of crown rings too!
For the next upgrade, we are bringing a new version of crown rings 559959, which features a stronger hold of the pulleys on the tensioners and spindles.

Sadly, for this product, the price had to be adjusted. This new version of this crown ring (559959 v2) will be the permanent version in our portfolio.
We will not stock the previous version of the crown ring anymore in our portfolio, unless this specific version is requested to us individually.
